Currently annotations are tied to a git branch, for repos that are checkout by tags, git branch --show-current returns nothing, and annotations created on certain tag will be shown on every branch.

Just merged a PR for this. can you verify it works for you. I dont use git tags, but I tested and the fix seems to know.
