Did you check docs and existing issues?

  • I have read all the haunt.nvim docs
  • I have updated the plugin to the latest version before submitting this issue
  • I have searched the existing issues of haunt.nvim
  • I have searched the existing issues of plugins related to this issue

Neovim version (nvim -v)

NVIM v0.12.4

Operating system/version

MacOs

Describe the bug

I believe the telescope picker has its own config set by this plugin, can we pass in the telescope globals, e.g if i want to shorten the path? or use sorting?

If this can be done, apologies, but trying to pass in values hasn't worked. something like haunt_picker.show(opts) where opts comes from telescope would be super nice

Steps To Reproduce

use the telescope picker
use a different telescope config
no change to haunt

Expected Behavior

It should take the global values

Repro

vim.env.LAZY_STDPATH = ".repro"
load(vim.fn.system("curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/folke/lazy.nvim/main/bootstrap.lua"))()

require("lazy.minit").repro({
  spec = {
    { "TheNoeTrevino/haunt.nvim", opts = {} },
    -- add any other plugins here
  },
})

e.g

        layout_strategy = "flex",
        layout_config = {
          prompt_position = "top",
          width = 0.95,
          height = 0.95,
           -- vertical = { preview_height = 0.75 },
           horizontal = { preview_width = 0.60 },
        },
        sorting_strategy = "ascending",
        winblend = 0,
        file_ignore_patterns = { "node_modules", ".git" },
        path_display = { "smart" }, -- or "smart", "shorten", "tail"

these telescope settings mean you cant see the "haunt" tag in the picker. Even something like option = show_haunt_tag_first is preferable

e.g ``` layout_strategy = "flex", layout_config = { prompt_position = "top", width = 0.95, height = 0.95, -- vertical = { preview_height = 0.75 }, horizontal = { preview_width = 0.60 }, }, sorting_strategy = "ascending", winblend = 0, file_ignore_patterns = { "node_modules", ".git" }, path_display = { "smart" }, -- or "smart", "shorten", "tail" ``` these telescope settings mean you cant see the "haunt" tag in the picker. Hey! i am definitely going to but this on my plate. I dont use telescope so i surprised that this happens. I am surprised this doesnt work: haunt_picker.show(opts)

Ill take a look. can you please make a valid repro in the issue description? will help me debug
